Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision on Kingsway.

The crash took place at 4.37am on Monday 9 March, at the junction of Green End Road and Kingsway.

Two vehicles were involved - a Volvo S40 and a Volkswagen Golf.

The Volkswagen driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he passed away due to his injuries.

Officers are investigating the incident, and have asked anybody with information which may help to come forward.

This includes eye-witness accounts, CCTV or dashcam footage, or any phone recordings from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
