Police are appealing for information following a traffic incident in Cheadle Hulme yesterday (28 February).

A pedestrian was seriously injured after being involved in a collision with a vehicle, at the junction of Warren Road and Station Road around 10.20am.

The 78-year-old woman is being treated in hospital. Details of her current condition have not been revealed.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Anyone with information, dashcam footage or who was in the area at the time should contact GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741 quoting log 849-28/2/24.
