Police appeal for information after man 'seriously injured' in traffic collision

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured in a traffic collision in Adswood.

On Wednesday 12 June, a vehicle collided with a lamppost, leaving a 40-year-old-man with life-threatening injuries.

The incident took place at 6.38pm on Siddington Avenue. Emergency services attended the scene, and the man was later taken to hospital.

Police said in a statement: "GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

"They are keen to speak with anyone who may have any CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area at the time of the collision.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0161 856 4741, quoting reference 2800 on 12/06/2024."
