Police are appealing for information to help identify a man who reportedly exposed his genitals to a woman on a pathway in Heaton Mersey on Monday 7 September (Image - Google Maps)

Police are appealing for information to help identify a man who reportedly exposed his genitals to a woman in public.

The incident took place on Monday 7 September on a pathway behind Green Pastures, near the Heaton Mersey industrial estate, around 12.40pm.

The man was described as wearing shorts and a raincoat, and was also riding a pedal bike and carrying a towel.

He was said to be a white male in his 50s.
