Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are appealing for information following a serious crash on Bramhall Moor Lane.

An elderly man and woman were struck by a vehicle in the evening of Friday 7 November. Police attended the scene at 7.45pm.

The woman was left with a fractured ankle, and the man suffered multiple broken bones and currently remains in hospital.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene. They were driving a vehicle described as a light-coloured Ford van, which also has damage to the passenger wing mirror caused by the collision.

Police are now looking to speak to anyone with information, including anybody who might have footage from CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone in the moments leading up to the collision.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 3256 of 07/11/2025

Information can also be shared using GMP's 'report' tool or LiveChat function on their website.
