Police appeal for information after cyclist seriously injured in Heald Green

Police are appealing for information after a cyclist was seriously injured in Heald Green.

The cyclist was involved in a serious traffic collision on Wilmslow Road around 4.50pm on Monday 24 February.

Police believe that a BMW 1 Series in grey had been travelling the wrong way around a roundabout, where it collided with the cyclist.

The cyclist - a man in his sixties - was taken to hospital, where he is now being treated for serious and potentially life-changing injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision and may be able to provide information, as well as relevant dashcam or CCTV from around the time of the incident.
