New outdoor library opens for students at Woodford Primary School

There are few things more idyllic than reading a book in a pleasant setting.
Luckily, students at Woodford Primary School will be able to do just that, thanks to the opening of a new outdoor library.
Headteacher Mrs Drake said the new library was designed to provide an environment for students to 'explore books, share stories, and spark their imaginations'.
It offers a cosy location, perfect for some escapism into worlds and eras beyond humble old Stockport.
It's been funded with donations from members of the local community and from Redrow - the developer of Woodford Garden Village.
"We are thrilled to announce the official opening of our brand-new outdoor library", Mrs Drake said.
"Inspired by our love of reading, our outdoor library offers the children a cosy environment to explore books, share stories, and spark their imaginations.
"Thanks to the generosity and spirit of our community, including Redrow's donation, the outdoor library is a magical outdoor learning space that both pupils and teachers can truly enjoy."
Anna Evans-Kerr, sales director at Redrow, added: "We're delighted to have supported the creation of the school's outdoor library; a calm, inspiring space where children can read, unwind, and connect with nature. Not only does it encourage literacy and a love of reading, but it also nurtures their wellbeing.
"Our community funds are all about making a positive difference in the areas where we build, and this project is a wonderful example of that in action."
