Nominations open for the 2024 Made in Stockport Awards

Nominations are now open for the Made in Stockport Awards 2024, in line for a June ceremony at Heaton Moor's Savoy cinema.
The awards aim to celebrate the huge range of businesses across Stockport borough. All manner of businesses, from food, crafts, independent shops and more compete across nine categories.
The deadline for nominations is 10 March, with finalists due to be announced on 31 March.

The categories are as follows:
- Business of the Year (sponsored by Robinsons Brewery)
- Small Business of the Year (sponsored by Baker Thompson Associates)
- Concept of the Year (sponsored by Snapes Estate & Letting Agents)
- Food Producer of the Year (sponsored by Robinsons Brewery)
- Drink Producer of the Year (sponsorship available)
- Best Crafter of the Year (sponsorship available)
- Business to look out for (sponsored by Coffee Block)
- Capturing Stockport Award (sponsored by Unique Ladies, Stockport)
- Independent Shop Front (sponsored by Snapes Estate & Letting Agents)
Winners last year included town centre cafe Coffee Block, artist Kate O'Brien, and Romiley homeware store Echo Designs.
In 2023, the Made in Stockport Awards attracted over 6,000 votes from across the town.
Former BBC Radio Manchester and Key 103 presenter Chelsea Norris will host the awards, herself the owner of Minnie and Teds, a Stockport-based interior design and homeware business.

Being a category sponsor costs £150, and includes a listing on the voting page, promotion on social media, and a logo on the finalist and winner awards material. It also includes a logo on a banner at the awards ceremony, and the sponsor will be featured in the awards programme. The sponsor will also get one ticket.
