A business in MediaCity has appointed an eight-year-old lad from Stockport as their 'Chief Excitement Officer'.

Walter Massaya Hall was chosen after a 'city-wide search' to be the CEO for Oxygen - an indoor playground and park.

Having been in the role for around one month, one of his first duties was officially opening the park for guests. He's also been showcasing some of the rides and activities at the park, and has been working alongside Oxygen's 'other' CEO, Steven Wilson.

Walter has already described it as 'the best job in the world'.

The park itself features 24 interconnected trampolines, a mega-airbag, an inflatable park and more. There are also harnesses and high ropes courses for taller visitors, through to soft play areas for zero- to five-year-olds.

Speaking of his experience, Walter said: "So far, I've got to test out the equipment, interview Steve, the big CEO, and cut the ribbon at the launch party.

"It's really hard to choose the best part of the park, but I'd say the Strike Arena is probably my favourite, especially when we're playing tig. I also really like the high ropes and can't wait until I'm tall enough to try the Sky Rider.

"The Oxygen Hero Crew are so fun and they organise games like tig and hide and seek, which are so fun. I can't wait to go back!"
