A new Superdrug store opened today (Friday 8 November) at Portwood Retail Park, just outside Stockport town centre.

The store sits in the former Wilko's / Poundland unit, and occupies 8,200 square feet of retail space.

What's more, 40 new permanent roles will be created as a result of the new opening.

The new store offers the latest health and beauty products, everyday toiletries, beauty treatments, and luxury fragrances. There's also a wide range of beauty and personal care brands, from Superdrug's own-brand cosmetics through to brands like Relove and Revolution.

Nigel Duxbury, Property Director at Superdrug, said: "We are delighted to be opening a new store in Stockport's Retail Park.

"We are confident that local customers will love and welcome the new store, as it offers a wide range of popular health and beauty brands, a luxury fragrance counter and a professional Beauty Studio."
