A new Iranian superstore has opened in Stockport town centre.

Alan's Superstore, based at 30-34 St Petersgate (formerly Mango Mist), opened in late July.

It's just down the road from their previous branch, and features a larger space with a wider selection of products.

The shop specialises in snacks, sweets, seasonal fruits, and more.

In a statement on social media, a spokesperson said: "After about three months of hard work, planning, and continuous effort, we are thrilled to open our new shop.

"This milestone would not have been possible without your support and encouragement.

"We sincerely thank all our wonderful customers for standing by us and motivating us to improve every day.

"We look forward to welcoming you to our new space starting today. We hope you will continue to warm our hearts with your presence. See you soon!"
