By Alasdair Perry 16th Mar 2026
A new exhibition celebrating Stockport communities of decades gone by is opening at the Merseyway Centre.
The 'Memories of the Brinksway Clan Community exhibition will be open from 23-29 March at the Pop-Up centre in Merseyway, just opposite Office.
The exhibition will centre around the photography of Flo & Michael Danyliw, showcasing memories of Stockport - past residents, historic buildings, lost sights, and more.
Visitors can expect to see what stood on the site of Stockport Pyramid before it was built, and a host of similar bygone stories. It promises to offer "a rare glimpse into the lives and faces of the Brinksway community from decades past".
"Whether you're a local history buff or just curious about the roots of our town, come down and explore these incredible archives", the organisers said.
The Pop-Up will be open from 9am-5.30pm on Monday to Saturday, and 10.30am-4.30pm on Sunday.
