A new convenience store has opened at Stockport Interchange.
James Convenience is based near the Mersey Square entrance, and stocks a range of items from snacks to newspapers. The shop also includes a Costa coffee machine.
James operates a number of stores across the UK, including one in nearby Woodley, as well as a handful of others in similar travel interchanges nationally.
Opening times for the Interchange branch are 7am-7pm from Monday to Saturday, and 8am-5pm on Sundays.
As the company itself states: "With a strong core of neighbourhood convenience stores along with stores in 17 travel interchange locations, James Retail is a strong regional force in the independent convenience sector."
Stockport Interchange opened in March, and houses 18 bus stands, with the capacity for 164 departures per hour. Find a full list of the services and the stands they use HERE.
