A new bubble tea shop opens in Edgeley today (Saturday 9 March)

Pearl-T is based at 85a Castle Street, with two other stores in Macclesfield and Timperley.

To celebrate, the new store is giving away free bubble tea to the first 50 visitors - the store opens from 11am-6pm.

The new store will sell a similarly wide and delicious range of drinks to its other sites, including chocolate caramel milk tea, green apple fruit tea, watermelon tea, and more.

Our sister newspaper, Macclesfield Nub News, recently visited Macclesfield's own Pearl-T branch.

"Everyone's welcome," said business owners Ziggy and Mizu. "Peach mango and passion lychee have been the best sellers.

"A big thing for us is the customisation; we have options for making your bubble tea sparkling, with ice, and we have options for vegans as well."

At the Macclesfield store, there are 22 fruit tea options, and 18 milk tea options. You can also top your drink with tropical and fruity flavours, as well as decide how sweet it is.

There are seven specials which will come and go from the menu like tiramisu bubble tea and passion martini bubble tea.

They also sell mocktails to keep cool in hot weather like a pina colada and a strawberry mojito.
