New alternative store opens at Merseyway's Pop Up Shop

7th Jun 2024 | Local News

A new alternative store has opened at the Pop-Up shop in the Merseyway shopping centre.

It stocks art, gifts, cards, collectibles, accessories, and more, all with a 'nerdy' and 'goth' theme. And it's one of the few places in Stockport where you're likely to hear System of a Down!

The new shop opened on Monday 3 June, and will remain open until 16 June.

Regulars of Stockport's alternative markets will know what to expect, as this store is staffed by the same team and sells items from the same traders.

You can very much find your scene here - indulge your interests, find your niche, and pick up some cool items while you're there.

You can find the Pop-Up shop indoors at the Merseyway, near Waterstones and Office shoe shop.

And that's not all - if you're still looking for alternative treats after the 16th, you can find an alternative market taking place at Edgeley Park from 22-23 June. Find more information HERE.
