The Garam Massala in Cheadle Hulme has sadly closed its doors after 29 years in business.

This local favourite, based on station road, closed from Sunday 20 October.

In a statement to customers, the restaurant's owners said this was a 'difficult decision', made with a 'heavy heart'. The business reflected on '29 wonderful years serving the community',

The statement continues: "We are incredibly grateful for the support and loyalty you have shown us throughout the years.

"It has been our pleasure to serve you, celebrate special occasions, and create lasting memories together. Each meal shared, each story told, and every smile exchanged has meant the world to us."

Having served customers for almost three decades, The Garam Massala has provided meals and memories for generations of local residents.

Testimonials from happy customers over the years mention the delicious food, friendly staff, and 'faultless' service.
