A missing man, last seen leaving Leighton Hospital on December 19, has been found safe and well, 46 days later, in Stockport (Photo: GMP).

A missing man, last seen leaving Leighton Hospital in Crewe on December 19, has been found safe and well, 46 days later.

The missing 67-year-old, last seen at the Crewe hospital at 7.12am that morning, was located by Greater Manchester Police in Stockport on Tuesday 3 February.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Colleagues from Greater Manchester Police called on Tuesday 3 February to inform us he had been located in Stockport.

"The man, missing since December 19, was found safe and well."
