A stretch of the M60 near Stockport will be facing overnight closures this month.

The carriageway will be closed in both directions from Junction 24 to Junction 2, to allow for drainage.

The closures will be in effect every night from now until 6am on 17 January.

The closure times are 9pm-6am Monday to Friday.

National Highways is overseeing the work.
