M60 near Stockport set for overnight closures

A stretch of the M60 between J24 and J2 near Stockport will be closed in both directions overnight from 9pm-6am, lasting every weekday until 17 January (Image - Nub News)

A stretch of the M60 near Stockport will be facing overnight closures this month.

The carriageway will be closed in both directions from Junction 24 to Junction 2, to allow for drainage.

The closures will be in effect every night from now until 6am on 17 January.

The closure times are 9pm-6am Monday to Friday.

National Highways is overseeing the work.
