The M60 near Stockport has now re-opened following a crash earlier this morning (Monday 23 February).

Just after 7am, two lanes were shut between the Portwood Roundabout and Stockport Pyramid on the motorway.

Long delays built up around the incident, spreading to Portwood, Reddish, the Heatons and as far back as Ashton on the M60 itself.

According to Google Maps, as of 9.27am there are still some delays expected along the motorway.

However, the lanes have re-opened and traffic is moving again.
