A special celebration event for Stockport's League Two winning season will take place at John Lewis Cheadle.

The EFL League Two trophy will head to Cheadle Royal on Saturday 22 June - along with some special guests - in what promises to be a day of celebration and family activities.

Proceedings will run from 10am-4pm, and will feature music, football challenges, a raffle, a treasure hunt, and much more.

Special guests include Steve Bellis, County club chairman, who will be making a speech. Vernon Bear will also be making an appearance!

The trophy itself will be based in the Cheadle Link building, and will be available for photo opportunities throughout the day.

Fitness activities and food will also be on offer throughout the day.

Funds raised on the day will go towards the Stockport County Community Trust, the club's own charity which supports projects across the borough.
