Lyme Park has been celebrating two important anniversaries this year.
This season marks 30 years since the filming of BBC's 1995 Pride and Prejudice series at the park, and it also marks the 250th birthday of its author Jane Austen.
To celebrate, Austen fans visited Lyme Park for a day of Regency fun, in collaboration with Stockport-based bookshop Serenity Booksellers.

The day including period dress, author talks (from Sophie Andrews, Ros Ballaster, Amelia Blackwell and Jess Shannon), an embroidery workshop, a quiz, and regency dancing from Regency Rejigged.
Kelly Peck, co-owner of Serenity Booksellers said: "Jane Austen has been a huge part of my life and her wit and writing has inspired thousands of people across the globe, so to be able to put on this event in Lyme Park was just magical.
"We loved working with the team at Lyme Park to make this happen."

Serenity Booksellers are award-winning independent bookshops, based in Romiley and Stockport.
They host book clubs, author talks and more - find more information on their website here.
