Gas leak closes Hollywood Way, impacting M60 access

Gas engineers from Cadent were called to repair an emergency leak on Hollywood Way today (Thursday 6 August).
It means there is currently no access to M60 junction 1 (the Pyramid junction) from Hollywood Way.
A northbound one-way closure is in place between Brinskway and Yew Street, near the Pyramid.
Stockport Council has advised people to avoid the area while works are being carried out.
Queues were seen building along Brinksway / Chestergate from around 12.30pm this afternoon.
