Inventery, a bar and kitchen in Cheadle Hulme, is raising money for charity with nothing but an electric bike and a great deal of ambition.

Using a stationary exercise bike donated by Life Leisure, Inventery and its visitors are aiming to clock up 2,531 miles - the distance from Cheadle Hulme to the North Pole - as soon as possible.

In doing so, they aim to raise £2,531, which will go towards Chelwood Foodbank Plus.

The money will help provide food and essential items for families in Stockport who are in poverty at this time of year.

Anybody is welcome to take to the yard and do a stint on the exercise bike. Anyone wishing to do so should contact Inventery or register at the bar.

Voucher prizes are even up for grabs - £75 for whoever cycles the longest distance, £50 for second, and £25 for third.

You can donate to the fundraiser HERE. As of time of writing, the fundraiser has garnered £777, around 30% of its target. It is making steady headway to the pole, but needs any help it can get!
