Four suspected drug dealers arrested in Brinnington following morning raids

Four suspected drug dealers have been arrested in Brinnington.
Around 40 officers from Greater Manchester Police carried out searches early this morning (Thursday 22 May) along Shropshire Avenue, Northumberland Road and Dunster Avenue.
The men - aged 64, 52, 28 and 21 - were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing and remain in custody for questioning.
During the searches, police also found cash and drugs, as well as drug-making equipment.
Detective Constable Richard Bennett said the action will "have a considerable impact on drug supply and associated crime across the area".
"County lines drug gangs pose a significant threat, especially young people and the vulnerable, and bring misery to our communities", DC Bennett added.
"We rely on information from the public to be our eyes and ears on the streets - help us to rid your communities of drugs and related crime by reporting information about drug dealing and other issues."
