A derelict building in Stockport Underbanks is being regenerated. 

The decaying building, opposite Robinson's Brewery, has been acquired by Emperor Property Holdings, who have promised to 'get it looking how it should again'. 

Emperor described it as 'one of the toughest projects we have ever bought'. 

Crews are now on site. 

What the building could ultimately become once regeneration has finished remains open. 

Emperor said on social media: "For years this building has been ignored, left to decay while the surrounding area moved forward.

"When the opportunity came up to acquire it, we knew it was one we had to take on.

"In terms of condition, it is as challenging as they come.

"But regeneration does not happen without risk. We see potential where others see problems, and this investment is about restoring a forgotten building and playing our part in the continued growth of Stockport."
