Daw Bank in Stockport town centre will re-open on Sunday 30 March, following roadworks.

The roadworks have been in place since 12 March to allow for the installation of railings on the A6 Viaduct parapet.

Pedestrian access remains open for now, however it will close during removal of the scaffolding.

Scaffolding has been in place along Daw Bank for the installation of the railings, which will increase the height of the parapet. It will open up new footway and cycleway sections on the approaches to the new A6 crossing, near the Interchange.
