A 'prolific' shoplifter has been banned from a number of shops in Stockport, as part of a criminal behaviour order (CBO).

Natalie Price, 31, from Brinnington, has been banned from B&M bargains, Marks & Spencer, and from the grounds of the Peel Centre.

The order will last for two years, until June 2026.

Neighbourhood officer PC Leadbetter-Smith said: "At Stockport we work closely with our retail and security partners to deter criminals from our town. Those individuals who think that they can come to Stockport to commit crime will be identified, arrested, and put before the courts.

"We will also apply for these Criminal Behaviour Orders against those who cause most harm in our communities. These orders, if breached, carry their own power of arrest and may result in significant custodial sentences. My message to Miss Price is simple, stay away!"
