Cheadle Hulme Medical Group, on Hulme Hall Road, was rated 'good' last week by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The GP provided 'safe care that met people's individual needs', the CQC said.

Whilst some areas of the building 'did not fully meet the required standards', plans were in place to make improvements.

Leaders said the 'challenge' was delivering those improvements while continuing to care for patients.

Staff referred patients to social inclusion and support services, and patients were able to access an allotment, with leaders looking to expand this.

People at the service 'felt listened to and felt they were treated with kindness', the report continued.

Patients said 'all staff are approachable' and 'the doctors all listen'.
