A Channel 4 documentary centred around Stockport's Royal Nawaab Pyramid has won a prestigious TV award.
The World's Biggest Curry Restaurant, which aired on Channel 4 on Friday 22 May, won 'best new show' at this year's National Reality TV awards.
It also made the shortlist for best food show and best business show at the ceremony.
Also in the running in these categories were television favourites such as The Traitors, Masterchef, Dragons' Den, and The Apprentice.
The winners were decided by public vote, and announced on 29 July in a glittering ceremony at The Porchester Hall, London.
Royal Nawaab said the team were 'incredibly proud' to have won the award.
The National Reality TV awards describes itself as the world's biggest celebration of reality television.
As well as the UK, the award organisers also host other events in Asia and the USA.
The World's Biggest Curry Restaurant documentary offers an exclusive behind the scenes look at the workings of the Nawaab Pyramid, which opened in 2025.
The documentary follows "the pressure, passion, scale and spectacle behind the largest Pakistani-Indian restaurant in the world".
A description adds: "From serving thousands of diners every week to hosting unforgettable weddings and events, this is Royal Nawaab as you've never seen it before".
