Police investigators are treating a bus fire at Stockport Interchange as suspected arson.

An investigation is underway after a double-decker bus caught fire around 6.30pm on Sunday 9 March in the interchange.

The building was closed as emergency crews dealt with the blaze, although it has since re-opened.

Nobody was injured in the fire. 

The interchange was closed completely as crews dealt with the incident.

Three fire engines were called to the scene, with firefighters spending around 45 minutes fighting the blaze.
