There's a new face at New Care's Bramhall Manor care centre; Emma Roberts joins the team as deputy manager, working with manager Helen Hartley, to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home.

In her new role, Emma will help support and lead the home's nurses and carers to deliver high standards of care. This will involve the administration of medication, overseeing admissions, and looking after each resident's daily care needs.

Emma also emphasises the importance of creating a sense of wellbeing in the home, and helping each resident at Bramhall Manor feel safe, secure, comfortable and part of a warm and friendly community.

Having worked previously for New Care at the company's Ashlands Manor care centre in Sale, and also as a district nurse, Emma has a strong background in healthcare and is delighted to take up a management position at Bramhall Manor.

She said: "Between myself, Helen and the team here at Bramhall Manor, we strive to deliver excellent healthcare; continuous high quality care from an established and permanent team that can really make a difference to the quality of life of our residents and provide important peace of mind for their families. It is a privilege to join the team as deputy manager."

Home manager Helen, added: "Emma is really passionate about healthcare and has a wonderful way with our residents - all of whom love her. It's a pleasure to have her on the team and I'm looking forward to working closely with her in the future."

Over her career in healthcare, Emma has gained many qualifications including NVQ2 in Healthcare, a foundation degree in nursing and a degree in adult nursing. She is due to start the induction for her Level 5 management in care apprenticeship very soon.
