Bramhall-based golf club raises £3,365 for Stepping Hill neonatal unit

A golf club based in Bramhall has raised a whopping £3,365 for Stepping Hill Hospital's neonatal unit.
Bramhall Park Golf Club raised the money through a variety of fundraising activities such as raffles, clothes sales, and putting competitions.
Rosie Day, lady captain at the golf club, was inspired to raise money for the charity after her twin grand-daughters Phoebe and Tamsin were born premature at Stepping Hill back in 2013.
Rosie wanted to say thanks for the 'excellent' care of the neonatal team which helped Phoebe and Tamsin grow up happy and healthy.
Rosie and the twins visited the neonatal unit recently to hand over the cheque in person.
Kate Leadbeater, Stockport NHS Charity Manager, said: "I'd like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to Rosie and everyone at Bramall Park Golf Club for their amazing year of fundraising support which has gone into this extremely generous donation for our neonatal unit.
"This will be used to help enhance the environment for future babies in our care, and their families. It was a real pleasure to work with Rosie and an honour to meet Phoebe and Tamsin all grown up too."
