Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has confirmed that a body has been found in the search for missing Charlie.

Charlie was last seen in Cheadle Hulme, around 11.30pm on Thursday 21 September.

GMP's Stockport district launched a public appeal on Friday evening to ask the local community to help them with their enquiries.

Charlie's next of kin are aware, and a file has been passed to the coroner.

Detective Inspector Michael Jimenez from GMP said: "Our thoughts remain with Charlie's family at this difficult time, and we have specialist officers in place to support them. Thank you to those who shared our appeals."
