The bestselling author of 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder' is coming to Stockport.

Author Holly Jackson will be calling at Simply Books on Thursday 17 July to give a talk where she'll share her inspiration, insight, and take audience questions.

She'll be celebrating the launch of her first adult novel Not Quite Dead Yet, in what promises to be an evening of gripping conversation, audience questions, and exclusive signed copies.

Jackson is best known for the phenomenally successful A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series - now a hit Netflix adaptation - which has captivated millions of readers worldwide.

With Not Quite Dead Yet, she turns her attention to adult fiction in a story already hailed as "a masterclass in thriller writing" by The Silent Patient author Alex Michaelides.

Set in Vermont, the novel follows Jet Mason, a wealthy 27-year-old who, after a violent attack, learns she has just seven days to live. As her health declines, Jet makes a chilling decision: she's going to solve her own murder before it happens.

The evening will offer fans a rare opportunity to hear from Jackson in person, as she discusses the inspiration behind the novel, her transition from YA to adult fiction, and her life as one of the UK's most popular literary voices.

Every £20 ticket includes a hardback copy of Not Quite Dead Yet, which Jackson will be signing at the event. Please note: only copies of the new book will be signed.
