Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have announced the arrest of a man as part of an investigation into the supply of illegal drugs across Greater Manchester.
The arrest comes as part of 'Operation Prom', which took place in the Offerton area.
Spearheaded by GMP's Stockport Challenger team, the operation aims to investigate drugs supply lines in the area.
The arrest was of a 27-year-old man, and was made on 18 April.
A mobile phone was also seized - which is being analysed for information - as well as a dog, which is being examined to check if it is an illegal breed.
PC Jenny Weeks, of the Stockport Challenger team, said: "Operation Prom is an investigation into the Frank drugs supply line that has been actively selling Class A drugs in Stockport and across the Greater Manchester area.
"Stockport's Challenger team will pursue and actively target those involved in the supply of drugs as this criminality often involves the exploitation of children and vulnerable people.
"We will seek to find those responsible for the running of drugs lines and close those lines down as there is no place for that type of criminality in our communities.
"We rely on information from the public and any suspicious activity should be reported to us, either directly, by calling 101, via LiveChat at www.gmp.police.uk or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 11 but always dial 999 in an emergency."
