Alan Shearer to visit Edgeley Park for 'exclusive' talk

Footballing legend Alan Shearer will be visiting Stockport this year, giving a talk at Edgeley Park.

The former star striker will speak as part of 'An Evening with Alan Shearer' on Friday 22 November 2024 from 6.30pm.

Shearer will be sharing stories from his career, as well as personal insights and his characteristic humour.

Tickets start from £95 (standard admission). VIP tickets are also available for £125.

The talk takes place in the newly-refurbished 1883 Lounge. Attendees will be able to enjoy a premium two course meal while they hear from one of the greatest strikers of all time.

Alan Shearer is the Premier League's record goalscorer, with 260 goals. He also features in the FIFA 100 - a list compiled by Pelé in 2004, containing the world's greatest living players.

The forward is most famous for his stints at Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United.

Now a respected football pundit, he speaks regularly on the BBC and on The Rest is Football podcast.
