Inside Cure - Heaton Moor's new bistro and bar

Heaton Moor has a new bistro and bar - and it's one to boast about.
Cure opened on Friday 2 May, and is based at 110 Heaton Moor Road, formerly Leoni's.
The much-loved Leoni's has moved next-door, and is now a deli and bar. Meanwhile, Cure's co-owners Mehmed and David have been busy turning the place into a one-of-a-kind bar and bistro, with a delicious French / Mediterranean menu.
The pair have brought decades of experience from working in high-class bars across Manchester and distilled it into this new Heaton Moor site.
This level of class and quality is clear in all parts of the restaurant - from the decor which is lush with verdant plants, through to the homemade cocktail menu.
Homemade, it should be said, in a very real sense - the drinks are even carbonated on site, meaning visitors will be getting something very unique.

Indeed, the cocktail menu is a speciality at Cure, with a huge range of options, all carefully prepared. Soon, they will even be able to buy bottled to take home.
As for the food, visitors can expect a fresh menu which changes on a regular rotation. The underlying theme is Mediterranean, so as months go by customers at Cure can try dishes from France, Spain, Italy, Greece, and much more. It's a veritable Mediterranean cruise from the comfort of Heaton Moor Road.
Co-owner Mehmed described it as a 'dream come true' to open this new bistro.
"It's been my dream to open a restaurant since I was very young", he said.
"I'm passionate about hospitality. We've been so busy, but we've been super happy throughout."

And it's not just the staff - customers have also been very happy. In just two weeks, Cure already has a plethora of flawless five-star ratings on Google reviews.
The food is definitely part of this, but as Mehmed explains, the experience counts for just as much.
"These days, it's so easy to cook or to order a takeaway", he explained. "So when you eat out, it has to be about more than just the food.
"People go out for the experience, the service - hospitality is all about offering something special."
"That's why we've tried to create a nice feel. There's great customer service, and we've spent a lot of time on creating the decor and vibe."

There's also plenty more to look forward to.
Cure recently launched its brunch menu, which offers the likes of full English breakfasts, French crepes, eggs Benedict, and much more.
As well as this, visitors can also look forward to a separate speak-easy style bar and events space opening soon on Cure's upper floor. It will be opening in the next few months, with the capacity for live music, private events, and more.
