Local car dealer Swansway has donated £5,000 to the Forever Manchester charity.

Forever Manchester has a wide remit as a charity. It does not focus on a specific cause; rather, it supports a wide range of independent grassroots projects, from music and sports clubs to care provision.

Swansway will be supporting the Children, Young People and Families themed fund with its donation.

The £5,000 will go towards local projects which fall under this category. Swansway has said that this particular themed-fund "has supported several causes which resonate with Swansway Motor Group's values and core family focus".

Forever Manchester's Director of Philanthropy Jean Mills commented: "Forever Manchester is delighted to work in partnership with Swansway Motor Group to support community projects across Greater Manchester that benefit children, young people and families across Greater Manchester; delivering meaningful impact at a local level."

Swansway Motor Group Director David Smyth added: "It's our pleasure to be partnering with the community foundations in these areas, at Swansway Motor Group we often give back to the local communities where we have a dealership, and these partnerships will help us to support important causes and tackle issues in the local area that we may not have been aware of without the brilliant work of the teams."
