What it actually entails:

·      Eligible Models – Including the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7 and ID.7 Tourer from Volkswagen's ID range.

·      Eligible Buyers – Open for private UK retail customers (18+), whether paying in cash or via finance (such as PCP), but excludes fleet, contract-hire, Motability, ex-demonstrator or used vehicles.

·      Test Period – After delivery, buyers must keep the car for a minimum of 80 days and may return it any time up to 100 days after handover.

·      Return/Refund Terms – If you choose to return the car, Volkswagen will buy it back and give a refund, minus a 'fixed' usage charge.

·      One-time use – Each customer can use the scheme once. Qualifying vehicles must be brand new and not second-hand or previously used.

·      Timing – Promotional period runs from 3^rd November 2025 until 31^st March 2026.

Instead of buying and hoping for the best, customers can treat the first few months like a long trial – try out home or work charging, test range on daily routes, see if the car meets family needs. We're sure you will love your new ID. but if it's not the right fit, you can bring it back. Simply notify us and return it between 80 and 100 days after your handover.
