Stockport County has apologised after ticket sales for the Blackpool away match were suspended.

Tickets were due to go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 24 July, but the club faced 'technical issues'.

A County spokesperson said: "The club has been let down by our suppliers, which resulted in a failure of both the ticketing system and the website."

Sales have been suspended until Friday as a result. They will go on sale for season ticket holders from 11am on Friday 26 July.

Any remaining tickets will go on general sale from 11am on Monday 29 July.

Fans voiced their frustration on social media.

The club said: "We again would like to apologise to supporters for the issues encountered this morning and earlier this week.

"We acknowledge that these issues are unacceptable and require an urgent, long-term solution.

"[...] we look to ensure that these issues are not repeated in the future".

County will face Blackpool on Saturday 17 August at Bloomfield Road.
