Bed specialist Sleep Haven - which has a shop in Reddish - has entered administration.

The company has an outlet in the Broadstone Mill shopping centre, and has other sites in Warrington, Castelford and Oswaldtwistle.

The Reddish outlet will be hosting a stock clearance sale for the next few weeks.

Sleep Haven was founded in 2023 - although it had made 'considerable progress' in building a presence on the local market, the cost of living crisis made trading difficult for the company.

Opus Restructuring & Insolvency will be taking control of Sleep Haven, with Mark Ranson and Adrian Dante appointed as administrators.

All 13 of the company's staff have been retained.

"It's a tragedy that a business created with such optimism and which had become well-established so quickly has failed to survive its start-up phase", Mr Ranson said.
