Snooker world champion Kyren Wilson will be hosting an evening of world class snooker in Heaton Moor this March.

'The Warrior' will be at The Moor Club on 27 March, in what promises to be an 'unforgettable evening'.

There will be nine frames of snooker, against local players and junior academy players.

There will also be an opportunity to play Kyren as part of a raffle, as well as a final auction frame.

Every penny raised will be in support on Francis House Children's Hospice.

To create an atmosphere worthy of the Crucible, the club will lift out two tables to create an arena around the centre exhibition table for up to 120 spectators.

There will also be a mid-session buffet included in the ticket price.

Tickets are £30 and are available from the Moor Club bar.

The Moor Club already has something of a reputation as a haunt of top snooker players, having previously played host to the likes of Ken Doherty, Steve Davis, Shaun Murphy and Mark Williams, to name a few.

Kyren is the 2024 Snooker World Champion. At the age of 33, he has already won nine ranking titles.

Francis House Hospice is based in Didsbury, and provides care for around 2,000 people. Their services include respite care, homecare, sibling support, end of life care and emotional and bereavement support.
