"We were delighted to welcome Jenny Powell as our celebrity presenter and are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the event. Raising more than £6,000 for Signpost for Carers through the generosity of local businesses and the community was a fantastic achievement and demonstrates the positive impact we can make when we come together.
"Congratulations to all of the winners, finalists and runners-up. The standard of entries this year was truly exceptional, making judging incredibly challenging across every category. We encourage all businesses to celebrate their achievements and, if they weren't successful this year, to enter again next year.
"The Stockport Business Awards are about recognising the incredible talent, innovation and resilience we have here in Stockport, and every finalist should be immensely proud."
James Almond of Almond Family Pubs - winner of the business of the year (£5m-£10m) category, said: "To be recognised at the Stockport Business Awards means a great deal to us. We're a family business, and an award like this is really a reflection of the teams across our five pubs who turn up and give their best every single day.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported us, and congratulations to all of this year's winners and finalists across the borough."
