Winners have been announced for the 2024 Stockport Business Awards.

The awards take place annually, and aim to "celebrate, recognise, reward, and showcase the very best that Stockport has to offer".

Locals make their own nominations, after which a panel of judges produces a shortlist - three business for each of the 13 categories, totalling 39 nominees.

The categories aim to showcase a range of sizes and sectors in the business world.

The panel of judges included representatives from CN Chartered Accountants (the founders and organisers of the awards), Stockport Council, the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, plus sponsors Gorvins Solicitors (award sponsors).

The winners are as follows:

Among the winners are a charity (EGG), a Cheadle hotel (Oddfellows) and the Merseyway centre.

The awards ceremony was held on 3 October at Edgeley Park, and was hosted by TV and radio presenter Jenny Powell.

Andrew Baggott, managing partner at CN chartered accountants said: "As another year comes and goes, we are yet again thrilled by the businesses success we have seen at the awards.

"The room was once again buzzing, and all seemed to have a great time. The Stockport business community is strong, and we all celebrated some amazing winners and shortlisted companies.

"Each year we continue to find and highlight the great businesses that Stockport has to offer."
