Mari Hannah (author of Her Sister's Killer) in Conversation | Serenity Booksellers (Romiley) | Thu 13 March | 6pm doors, 6.30pm start

Northern Soul at the Guild Hall | Stockport Masonic Guildhall | Fri 14 March | 9pm - 1am

Experience two rooms of top soul music at the Stockport Masonic Guildhall this Friday 14 March.
Proceedings run from 9pm until 1am.
Tickets are £5 on the door.
Antiques and Collectors Fair | Stockport town hall | Sat 15 March | 9am - 3.30pm

Celebrating its fiftieth year this year , the popular antiques fair returns to the stunning ballroom of Stockport Town Hall.
Expect 130 stalls piled high with antiques and vintage items to suit all tastes and budgets.
Cash admission is £2.50 per person or £2.00 with concessions . There is also a car park at the rear of the town hall on Lacy Street and refreshments are available in the cafe.
Vinyl record fair | Stockport Masonic Guildhall | Sun 16 March | 10am-4pm

This event is a must for all vinyl lovers, featuring traders selling vinyl records, CDs, books, and more.
There is catering on site and the bar is also open.
Entry is £1 per person, or £5 from 9am. The event runs from 10am-4pm on Sunday 16 March.
The organisers gave the following description: "We're rammed full with vinyl records, CDs, and associated memorabilia, with some new traders alongside our regulars.
"You can park at the rear of the venue for £1 in the car park off Brentnall Street.
"Oh, and there's two convenient cash machines close by, at the petrol station and Co-op."

Prolisok - fundraising concert for Ukraine | Stockport Plaza | Sun 16 March | 5pm

Catch renowned dance ensemble Prolisok as they perform at Stockport Plaza in a fundraising concert for Ukraine humanitarian charities.
A description for this event reads: "This amazing fundraising concert showcases flamboyant dances from across Ukraine, where Prolisok together with special guests Voice of Ukraine winner Igor Grohotsky, Zhayvir Bandura Trio, violinist Luke Stepanyak and more immerse you in Ukraines vibrant cultural heritage.
"Experience enchanting melodies, show-stopping dances, and captivating storytelling that have made Prolisok dance champions at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod 2024 and TV sensations on S4C and the BBCs One Show.
"This Step Into Ukraine 2025 benefit concert celebrates Ukrainian music and artistry, and supports Ukrainian humanitarian charities;
