Gingerbread Hunt | Merseyway shopping centre | Sat 20 - Sun 21 December

Help find the missing gingebread men at Merseyway shopping centre (Image - Merseyway)

Merseyway shopping centre will be hosting free trails for young visitors to help find some missing gingerbread men.

They'll be taking place from 11am on Sat 20 - Sun 21 December until slots are filled.

Participants will be invited to help Mrs Claus find the missing pieces by following a trail map and clues through the centre mall.

They'll be guided by elves along the way, finishing the journey at Gingerbread House, where families can meet Father Christmas in his grotto and receive a sweet treat from Mrs. Claus in her gingerbread-themed shop.

Merseyway will also be getting into the festive spirit later in December as they host extended opening hours.

The centre will be open from 9am until 7pm from Thursday 18th through to Tuesday 23 December.

That's in addition to the festive huts that are now open in the Merseyway's outdoor area, purveying sweet and savoury treats, gifts, and more.

Merseyway is accessible on the bus via the Mersey Square Wellington Road South bus stop, or by passing under the A6 bridge from the Interchange towards the Chestergate.
