What's on in Stockport this weekend - Firevolt Rock Festival, Futureshock Wrestling, and more

There is lots to do in and around Stockport this weekend!
The headline event for the weekend is the Firevolt Festival, running from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th August.
On a similarly musical note, Bez heads to AMP on Saturday for a DJ set.
And on Sunday, Futureshock Wrestling's 20th anniversary will take place at Stockport Masonic Guildhall.
Firevolt Rock Festival | Whitebottom Farm | 8-11 August | (varying stage times)
Firevolt Rock Festival is set in the stunning surroundings of Etherow Country Park, Stockport.
Now in its third year, the festival has quickly grown its reputation for being one of the friendliest on the circuit. The two covered stages, with no clashes, showcase bands that are ripping up the scene from Hard, Heavy, AOR, Blues, Alt, NWOCR and some old school Classic Rock Too.
The festival site boasts proper loos and hot showers with a huge bar serving a variety of draughts including cider, IPA, Guinness & Trooper beers as well as a full range of spirits.
Camping and glamping (with pamper tent) are available on site alongside a variety of fantastic food vendors and boutique retail traders.

Bez DJ set | AMP | Sat 10 August | 7pm (doors), set 9.30pm - 00.30am
Bez takes to the DJ booth at AMP for a special set on Saturday 10 August.
Doors open at 7pm. The set is expected to start at 9.30pm and last until past midnight, around 12.30am.
A description for this event reads: "Happy Mondays legend Bez takes to our stage for a night of Madchester Goodness."

Futureshock Wrestling | Masonic Guildhall | Sun 11 August | 5.30pm-8.45pm
Enjoy the 20th anniversary of Futureshock Wrestling on Sunday 11 August at Stockport Masonic Guildhall.
A description for this event reads: "An epic night where the stakes have never been higher... Championship versus career, hair versus hair; so much more!"
The event runs from 5.30pm to 8.45pm, with last entry at 6pm.
