Residents of Stockport borough are spoiled for choice when it comes to things to do this weekend.

Cranking up the weekend to 11 on Friday is a performance from Motorbeard - this Motorhead tribute band will play at the Spinning Top, in what will no doubt be welcome news for local headbangers.

Saturday, meanwhile, will see a change of pace with an antiques fair at Stockport Town Hall. That same evening, a 'grown-ups disco' will take place in the town hall ballroom, but unfortunately tickets have sold out. Keep your eyes peeled for resale, though!

And on Sunday, the Stockport village 10k will take place for local running enthusiasts.
