Relive the 90s at Stockport Plaza this Friday, as Terry Christian hosts a special event celebrating 30 years of The Word.

This show featured interviews, live music, game shows, and had its fair share of controversy.

Terry's show at the Plaza will feature a Q&A, as well as clips on the big screen from The Word.

A description for this event reads: "Join award-winning broadcaster, comedian and word host Terry Christian as we celebrate – with the aid of some amazing clips and a no holds barred Q&A – the 30th Anniversary of this iconic and quintessentially 90s ground breaking and controversial TV show.

"Going on air in August 1990, the Word both revolutionised youth TV and predated reality TV by many years. Deliberately aiming to achieve something new and exciting, the Word pushed at the conventional boundaries of broadcasting to court controversy and outrage the establishment."

This event takes place on Friday 26 January, from 7.30pm.

As of time of writing, the circle and balcony have sold out, but there are some stage tickets left.
