Stockport is set for a whole host of varied events this weekend.
Two festivals take place this weekend; a dream lineup of tribute bands will take over the fields near Romiley, whilst in Stockport town centre a host of market traders and craft events will take over the Merseyway for the full-moon festival, a traditional Chinese celebration.
Theatre and a street party offer some other great options.

Full Moon Festival | Merseyway Shopping Centre | Fri 15 - Sun 17 September
A little piece of Hong Kong will come to Stockport this weekend with the Hongkongers' Full Moon Festival.
This festival (also known as the Mid-Autumn festival) is a traditional event in Chinese culture. It is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunisolar calendar, with a full moon at night.
Lanterns are lit, and people celebrate with their families and eat mooncakes.
Now this rich cultural tradition will visit the Merseyway centre, with food stalls, a 'big moon installation', free crafts, and more.
The festival will last from 15-17 September and run from 9am-7.30pm each day.
Made in Manchester festival | Compstall Farm | Sat 16 - Sun 17 September | 12pm
The Made in Manchester festival will head to Romiley from 16-17 September.
This festival aims to celebrate the Manchester music scene by bringing together top notch tribute bands to create a dream festival lineup.
Tributes to Oasis, The Smiths, New Order, The Happy Mondays, Elton John, The Stone Roses, Ed Sheeran and many more will take to the stage in the fields off Compstall Road.
As well as this lineup, there will also be local bands playing originals, a DJ set from Dave Sweetmore, along with all the hallmarks of any festival worth its salt: bars, food stalls, merchandise, funfair rides, a VIP area, and more.
This is a self-described 'family friendly' festival, although anybody aged 17 or under must be accompanied by an adult.
Set times of bands and artists will be posted on Made in Manchester's social media a week before the festival.
Although camping is not permitted just yet at the festival, attendees are welcome to bring camping chairs and picnic blankets.
Gates open at 12pm, with the first acts starting at 12.15pm. The curfew is 10.30pm.
